The COMPASS journal club is an opportunity for SON students to critically evaluate recent articles from academic literature on subjects related to our mission and vision. The journal club aims to create awareness about current issues, research, opportunities, and initiatives.
Through journal club, we hope to foster opportunities for JHU students and faculty to dialogue about current issues in the field. We encourage participants to share their view regarding the appropriateness of the research design, statistical methods employed, and conclusions drawn from the findings. The COMPASS center welcomes full time faculty and students to attend.
The Fellowship of Christian Nurses (FCN) seeks to provide a space for JHUSON students to engage in encouraging, uniquely Christian fellowship. We seek to create outlets for JHUSON students to deepen their understanding of how the Christian faith interacts with nursing while creating lasting relationships between peers and faculty members of faith. We invite you to join our weekly virtual bible studies on Thursdays from 6-7 p.m. Everyone is welcome!
