We have extended our initial registration period which originally ended on August 22nd. Registration will be open for the Fall 2022 courses until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31st, as space allows. Once all course sections have met capacity (either before or by this date), registration will close for that course.
With our semester beginning on Tuesday, August 30th, it is important to remember that the later you register, the less time you will have to review course materials and complete Module 1 assignments by the due date.
If you have any other questions about taking prerequisite courses with us, please review our Prerequisite FAQ.
Please note: New students, you will not receive your JHED ID until 24-48 hours after the application has been submitted. With this in mind, you should plan to apply no later than 11:59 p.m. (ET) on August 29th, otherwise you will not be able to register for courses.
After registering, it will take 24 hours for the course to appear in your Canvas course listings. Please keep this in mind, as it means you will not be able to begin reviewing course materials or completing assignments until a full day after you register for the course. Extensions will not be granted due to late registration, so please plan accordingly.
In honor of National Immunization Month, this grand rounds will be co-hosted with the Center for Infectious Disease and Nursing Innovation (CIDNI) at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. Dr. Jason Farley, ’03, ’08 will moderate the event, and guest speakers will include postdoctoral fellow Dr. Omeid Heidari. '17, '20 and PhD candidates Dominique Guillaume and Keri Geiger. They will discuss roles nurses play in improving vaccine uptake and addressing vaccine hesitancy in their communities. They will also discuss epidemiologic importance of vaccines in efforts to prevent infectious diseases.
The Virtual Nursing Grand Rounds Series will offer attendees one free contact credit upon completion of a post-event quiz after each session, with the goal of fulfilling the JHSON’s mission of providing lifelong learning for health care professionals within the community.
The Virtual Nursing Grand Rounds Series is sponsored by the Nu Beta at Large Chapter of Sigma, the Honor Society of Nursing. The Nu Beta Chapter was established at Johns Hopkins School of Nursing in 1992.
