Virtual Nursing Grand Rounds: Holy Cowpox
In honor of National Immunization Month, this grand rounds (11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, August 31) will be co-hosted with the Center for Infectious Disease and Nursing Innovation (CIDNI) at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. Dr. Jason Farley will moderate the event, and guest speakers will include postdoctoral fellow Dr. Omeid Heidari and PhD candidates Dominique Guillaume and Keri Geiger. They will discuss roles nurses play in improving vaccine uptake and addressing vaccine hesitancy in their communities. They will also discuss epidemiologic importance of vaccines in efforts to prevent infectious diseases.
The Virtual Nursing Grand Rounds Series will offer attendees one free contact credit upon completion of a post-event quiz after each session.
