  • SON Joins Major Stand Against Opioid Misuse

    The Johns Hopkins School of Nursing has joined more than 100 organizations across the U.S. and the National Academy of Medicine in a commitment to reverse trends in opioid misuse. Opioids kill 130 people every day and, according to the nonprofit research organization Altarum, cost more than $1 trillion from 2001 to 2017, with $500 billion more projected by 2020. Read more.
